She has a diverse background: During law school, she worked in the Special Victims Unit of the Oklahoma City District Attorney’s Office, as well as at Miller Dollarhide, a firm handling oil and gas contracts and personal injury.
Maliah is an active member of the Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity, the Texas Bar College, the Texas Bar Association Family Law Section, the Texas Family Law Foundation, the Montgomery County Bar Association, and the Woodlands Bar Association. She is on the Montgomery County Bar Association and Board of Directors and actively serves on several board committees. She is constantly reviewing the law, as it is always changing. She enjoys studying and loves the constant challenges that can arise while practicing the law.
